Studer Education consultants use district strategic plans to develop accountable and aligned leader evaluations to drive performance.  This first step aligns Evidence-Based Leadership (EBL) essentials to a district strategic plan and determines core metrics and tools to use for evaluating leader performance to drive accountability. The EBL includes several Must Haves® measures (standardized student achievement, employee engagement, parent satisfaction, service support card). We have developed and validated three tools by benchmarking school district data to assist district leaders and Boards of Education with assessing EBL essential goals and measures. The table provides an example of how the EBL framework connects to one school district’s strategic plan goals. The areas highlighted in yellow are essential components of all leader evaluations.
