As described in Quint Studer’s best-selling book, Results that Last, Evidence-Based LeadershipSM enables leaders in organizations to create results that last. How does this relate to education? In particular, Evidence-Based Leadership K12 or what we refer to as EBL K12SM provides a framework centered on using current “best practices” in leadership – practices that are proven to result in best possible outcomes. The “evidence” in this context, is the reams of data collected from study after study that aim to determine what people really want and need from their leaders. EBL K12SM applied in school districts is a continuous systems improvement model that school boards, executive teams and front line leaders follow to meet those needs.

Studer Group has partnered with over 1,000 healthcare organizations to apply the Evidence-Based Leadership framework and these partner organizations outperform other healthcare organizations on quality indicators leading to high performance. Studer Education, initiated in 2010, transferred the best practices from business and healthcare aligned to evidence-based leadership and applied these practices in school districts throughout the United States.
